Inspired by Victorian wedding dresses. The vintage lace and embroidery in creams and nudes is such a beautiful sight. I think the fabrics and colours of the Victorian era are my favourite of all time.
This lampshade is hand stitched and made with champagne coloured silk charmeuse. Two of the larger panels are covered in French beaded lace that’s heavily embroidered in a light champagne that lays over the silk charmeuse.
I have added French Taupe Tulle and silk chiffon.
The Lady lampshade is truly beautiful day or night.
The lampshade took 15 hours to make, and every stitch is done by hand.
Velvet taupe braid was added, and the fringe has been custom dyed in taupe pink to match the colour pallet.
This lampshade has an inbuilt shade carrier and is a table lampshade.
I recommend a 20 0r 40 watt LED warm white bulb to keep the silk in good condition.
